Maricatio BV, hereinafter referred to as Maricatio, is committed to protecting and respecting your personal data.
In this privacy statement, we aim to provide clear and transparent information about what data we collect and how we handle personal data. We make every effort to safeguard your privacy and therefore handle personal data with care. Maricatio observes the applicable laws and regulations in all cases, including the General Data Protection Regulation.

WHY DO WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data will be processed by Maricatio for the following purposes and legal grounds:

  • To inform and allow you to participate in Maricatio's activities (execution of agreement);
  • sending newsletters and invitations (data subject's consent);
  • obtaining government subsidies (legal obligation).

For the above purposes, we may request, store, process the following personal data from you:

  • Personal identity data: name, first name, e-mail.

We use the data collected only for the purposes for which we obtained the data.

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

We may provide the data you give to us to third parties if this is necessary for carrying out the purposes described above.

For example, we use a third party for:

  • Providing the internet environment (web hosting);
  • Providing IT infrastructure (including IT network, ...);
  • providing and distributing newsletters and invitations.

We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not entered into a 'processing agreement'.

With these parties (processors), we naturally make the necessary arrangements herein to ensure the security of your personal data.

CUSTOMS

Maricatio does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or required by law. These data are kept for a maximum of 5 years after the last use.

DATA SECURITY

We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unlawful processing, for example:

  • All persons who may have access to your data on behalf of Maricatio are bound to secrecy.
  • We make backups of personal data to restore it in case of physical or technical incidents;
  • We regularly test and evaluate our measures;
  • Our employees are informed about the importance of personal data protection.

YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR DATA

You have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we have received from you. The top of this privacy statement tells you how to contact us.

You can also object to the processing of all or part of your personal data by us or one of our processors.

You also have the right to have us transfer the data you provide to yourself or on your behalf directly to another party. We may ask you to identify yourself before we can comply with the aforementioned requests.

COMPLAINTS

privacy protection supervisory authority.
